The key concepts that will be addressed in this project are: Water Cycle, Hydrographic Basins, Groundwater, Oceans and Seas, and Environmental and Socioeconomic Impacts of Water Exploitation. Each of these concepts is of significant importance for a complete understanding of the topic and will be explored throughout the project.

Nevertheless, its distribution is very irregular on the Earth's surface, and the way it is managed and used has significant implications for society and the environment. Issues such as water scarcity, pollution, water conflicts, and climate change are current challenges that are directly related to hydrography.

Title: "Exploring the World's Hydrography: A Deep Dive"

Project Objective

Each group of students (composed of 3 to 5 students) will be responsible for studying in-depth the hydrography of a specific region of the world. They should investigate:

The project will focus not only on research but also on the development of an interactive digital presentation (such as a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation), including graphics, maps, and other visuals, as well as a written and oral description of the results.

Furthermore, students should relate their research to concepts from other disciplines, such as biology (analyzing, for example, the fauna and flora of the hydrographic basins) and economics (investigating, for example, the impact of water exploitation on the local economy).
