Activity Title:

"Mapping the 4.0 Revolution: A Geographic Perspective of the Fourth Industrial Revolution"

Project Objective:

Analyze and represent geographically the impacts of the 4.0 Revolution on the global economy, production distribution, work, education, and sustainability.

Project Description:

In this project, groups will conduct in-depth research on the implications of the 4.0 Revolution in different parts of the world. The result of this work will be the creation of an "Interactive Map of the 4.0 Revolution," which should be configured to represent the collected data and information, providing a global view of the impacts of this revolution.

Required Materials:

Access to online resources (computer with internet access), georeferencing software (e.g. Google Earth), research materials (books, articles, etc.), and text editing software.

Step by Step:

1. Form groups of 3 to 5 students and distribute the research topics among them: global economy, production distribution, work, education, and sustainability.

2. Each group should conduct in-depth research on their topic, identifying how the 4.0 Revolution is affecting this aspect in different parts of the world. The group should collect data, statistics, and concrete examples to illustrate their findings.

3. After the research, each group should represent their findings in an "Interactive Map of the 4.0 Revolution." The information should be organized in a way that makes it easy to understand the different impacts in different parts of the world. Groups can use georeferencing software, such as Google Earth, to create the map.

4. Finally, each group should prepare a 10 to 15-minute presentation to present their map and findings to the class.

Project Deliverables:

1. The "Interactive Map of the 4.0 Revolution," with clear demarcation of the data and information collected during the research.

2. An oral presentation of the work done, its findings, and the map description.

3. Written Document: After conducting the research and creating the interactive map, groups should write a document reporting on the project. This report should include the following topics:

Students will have one month to complete this project, which aims to provide a detailed view of the impacts of the 4.0 Revolution, as well as to stimulate the development of skills such as teamwork, time management, research and data analysis, critical thinking, among others.
