Project Objectives

Project Description

In this project, groups of 3 to 5 students will research, analyze, and present one of the main narratives of the New World Order. Each group will be responsible for exploring a specific issue related to this period, such as the rise of China, US foreign policy, the formation and expansion of the European Union, the persistence of conflicts in the Middle East, or the challenges of global governance. The group must produce a written report and an oral presentation of the project.

Materials Needed

1. Access to the Internet to conduct research.
2. Software for producing the report (word processor) and the presentation (presentation software, such as PowerPoint, Prezi, or Google Slides).
3. Reference materials, such as books, articles, and documentaries (see the Resources section above).

Project Step by Step

1. Form groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Each group chooses a topic from the list of New World Order narratives.

3. Conduct detailed research on the chosen topic. Use a variety of sources to gain a comprehensive and balanced view of the subject.

4. Analyze the information gathered, identifying the main concepts, events, debates, and perspectives related to the chosen topic.

5. Prepare an outline of the report and presentation. The outline should include an introduction, a detailed description of the topic, an analysis of the main issues and debates, a conclusion, and a bibliography.

6. Write the report according to the outline. The report should be 15 to 20 pages long and include the following structure:

   • Introduction: Define the topic and explain its relevance and importance.
   • Development: Explain the topic in detail, relate the theory studied, and present the group's analysis. Describe the methodology used in the research.
   • Conclusion: Summarize the main points of the report, discuss what was learned, and the conclusions the group reached about the topic.
   • Bibliography: List all sources used in the research.

7. Prepare the oral presentation. The presentation should be 15 to 20 minutes long and include the same points as the report.

8. Present the project to the class and the teacher. This step will allow for the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the groups, in addition to developing communication and presentation skills.

9. Finally, submit the report and presentation for evaluation.

This project should be completed within a month, from the start date.
