Project Objective:

Explore the interconnection between ethics and will within the context of the contemporary world. Students will develop a 'Discussion Theater,' where they will present contemporary situations that question the role of ethics and will. The project should be developed in groups of 3 to 5 students.

Detailed Project Description:

The 'Discussion Theater' is a playful and socio-interactive form of learning, where students will create and perform short theatrical pieces that address the intersection between ethics and will. Each group must choose a contemporary ethical dilemma (for example, privacy issues in the digital age, bioethical dilemmas, gender equality, among others) to serve as the central piece of their theater.

This project will require students to delve into some philosophical theories on ethics and will to support their script, use creative skills to write and perform their theater, and finally analyze the implications of the chosen ethical dilemma and how will influences decision-making.

Necessary Materials:

• Internet access for preliminary research.
• Paper and pen for script writing.
• Camera to film the performance.
• Materials for set and costumes (optional).

Detailed Step-by-Step for Activity Execution:

Step 1: Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students and choose a contemporary ethical dilemma to serve as the theater's theme.

Step 2: Research the chosen dilemma and seek to understand how ethics and will interrelate in this context.

Step 3: Create a script for the theater, ensuring that it addresses the ethical dilemma and illustrates how ethics and will are present in the situation. Use characters that represent different points of view and involve an outcome that encourages reflection on the dilemma.

Step 4: Rehearse and prepare to film the performance. Students are encouraged to be creative with sets, costumes, and props.

Step 5: Film the theater performance. Do not worry about a professional production, the focus here is on the message and content of the project. The video should not exceed 15 minutes in duration.

Step 6: After filming, students should write a report following the Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography structure. This should discuss the theory behind the chosen ethical dilemma, explain how they developed the activity, present and discuss the results obtained.

• Introduction: Should contain a contextualization of the chosen ethical dilemma, its relevance and real-world application, and the theater's objective.

• Development: Explicit the theory behind the ethical dilemma, explain the activity in detail, indicate the methodology used, present and discuss the results obtained. The video should be used as evidence of the discussion held in the theater.

• Conclusions: Students should discuss the conclusions drawn from the theater, revisit their main points, and explain the learnings obtained about the ethical dilemma and how ethics and will relate.

• Bibliography: Should contain the citation of all sources (books, web pages, videos, etc.) used to support the project.

Step 7: After completing the report, each group should submit the Discussion Theater video along with the report.

The project must be submitted within one month from the start date, and each student should dedicate between five to ten hours to its execution.
