Project Objective:

This project aims to allow students to understand the concept of vergence and learn how to calculate the vergence of various lenses. Additionally, it aims to develop practical problem-solving skills using theoretical concepts, as well as promote teamwork and effective communication.

Detailed Project Description:

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 participants, and each group will be provided with various lenses of different sizes and shapes. Each group's task will be to measure the vergence of each lens and then build a graph that demonstrates the relationship between the shape and size of a lens and its vergence.

Required Materials:

  • Various lenses of different shapes and sizes.
  • Ruler or measuring tape.
  • Graph paper for building graphs.
  • Pencils, erasers, and pens.
  • Calculator.
