Detailed Description of the Project:

Each group will choose a country whose state-building process they will research, from its origins to the present day. It is important to remember to choose a region that has a rich and diverse political history, and the chosen country should not be the same as any other group's.

The timeline should include the country's major political and social milestones, especially changes in the structure of the state. For each point on the timeline, students should explain the rationale behind its inclusion, the historical conditions that led to that change, and the social, economic, and cultural processes involved.

In addition, students should prepare a 15-minute presentation to present their findings to the rest of the class.

Necessary Materials:

• Internet access for research
• Presentation software (such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Prezi)
