Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to explore the literary trends of African literature. Each group should choose a work by an African author of their choice (the teacher may provide a list of suggestions), read it, and analyze it according to the theoretical elements covered in class.

Detailed Project Description:

Students should divide into groups of 3 to 5 members. Each group should choose an African literary work and conduct a detailed study of it. The entire process of reading and analyzing the work should be documented and will result in the production of a comprehensive report, where students are expected to demonstrate an understanding of African literature, identifying its trends and characteristics.

Required Materials:

• Books, stories, or poems by African authors – in physical or digital format.
• Note-taking materials (notebooks, pens, computers, tablets, etc.).
• Text editing software for the production of the final report.

1. Group Formation: Students should divide into groups of 3 to 5 members.

2. Selection of the Work: Each group should choose an African literary work to study. The work can be a novel, a collection of stories or poems, or even a single story or poem, depending on the complexity and length of the work.
