Practical Activity

Title: 'Creation of an Illustrated Book in Spanish about Animals, Plants, and Parts of the Human Body'

Project Objective

The main objective of this project is to develop an illustrated book in Spanish. To do this, you must work in a group of 3 to 5 students, consolidating your knowledge of the vocabulary of animals, plants, and parts of the human body while enhancing your collaboration and communication skills.

Detailed Project Description

For the completion of this project, it is expected that students divide the work among themselves and work together to research, develop content, and design the illustrated book in Spanish. This book must contain the following sections:

1. Animals Section: This section must include at least 10 different animals, their names in Spanish, a brief description of each, and an illustration.

2. Plants Section: This section must contain at least 10 different types of plants, their names in Spanish, a brief description of each, and an illustration.

3. Human Body Parts Section: In this section, students must name and illustrate at least 20 different parts of the human body.

Each description must be enriched using adjectives, verbs, and grammatical structures studied in class.

Required Materials

1. A4 paper or cardstock (for the physical book) or graphic design software if you prefer to do it digitally.
2. Colors, pencils, markers, or other materials for illustration (for the physical book).

Step-by-Step for Activity Completion

1. Research and Information Gathering: Selection of the animals, plants, and parts of the human body that will be included in the book. For each one, research and write a description in Spanish.

2. Content Development: In this stage, students must work together to create the descriptions in Spanish for each selected animal, plant, and part of the human body. These descriptions must take into account the theoretical concepts learned about nouns, adjectives, the use of gender and number, construction of descriptive sentences, and use of verbs.

3. Illustration Creation: Students must create or select an illustration for each selected animal, plant, and part of the human body.

4. Book Compilation: Here, students must work together to compile all the information and illustrations into a book format. They must ensure that the book is coherent and well-organized.

5. Review and Correction: Finally, before submitting the project, students must review their work, correcting any errors and ensuring that all content is correct and well-presented.

   • Conclusion: Here, they must summarize the project's conclusions, talk about what they learned, and how they can apply this knowledge in the future.
   • Bibliography: Finally, they must cite all the information sources they used to complete this project.

This will test your communication skills, as you must ensure that your ideas and knowledge are presented clearly and effectively. Additionally, you must also demonstrate your time management and problem-solving skills, ensuring that all project components are completed in a timely and effective manner.
