To develop an understanding of African literature, its characteristics, and current trends, through the construction of a collective book highlighting authors, works, and genres of African literature.

Groups, composed of 3 to 5 students, should research African literature, including its main authors, works, and genres. Each group will be responsible for a chapter of the book, which can focus on an author, a work, a genre, a specific theme, or a historical-cultural aspect of African literature.

The chapters should include the following:

1. Historical and cultural context of the chosen theme.

2. Author's biography (if applicable), including the author's literary and cultural influences and the importance of their works.

3. Analysis of the work (if applicable), including main themes, literary styles, and its importance in the context of African literature.

4. A brief summary and analysis of a significant excerpt from the author's work or the chosen genre.

5. Conclusions on the importance and impact of the chapter's theme on the development of African literature.

6. Bibliography used.

Required Materials:
