Activity Title: Tree of Alternative Realities

Project Objective:

This project aims to further explore the use and formation of the Pluperfect Subjunctive in Spanish. Through a practical and playful approach, students will be encouraged to use this verb tense while creating stories that explore alternative realities.

Detailed Project Description:

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5, and each group will receive a base situation to develop their story. These situations will be brief descriptions of historical or literary events. Based on this base situation, students will create a 'Tree of Alternative Realities'.

The 'Tree of Alternative Realities' is a chart in which each branch represents a different possibility that could have occurred if the circumstances were different. Each possibility must be expressed using the Pluperfect Subjunctive.

For example, if the base situation is 'The Spanish Civil War', one of the branches could be: 'If Francisco Franco had not won the war, Spain would be a republic'.

The goal is that, in the end, each group has a tree with at least four alternative possibilities.
