Therefore, it is vital to master not only the language, but also the interview techniques in order to communicate effectively.

Introduction to the Topic

The project "Interview Aspects" aims to introduce students to the concept and process of interviewing in English. Students will learn the structure of an interview, types of questions that can be asked, and how to prepare for an interview in English. They will also have the opportunity to practice conducting interviews with each other, thus improving their fluency and confidence when speaking in English.

Aan interview is a dialogue between two or more people where questions are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee. Furthermore, there are different types of interviews, such as job interviews, behavioral interviews, panel interviews, telephone interviews, among others. Each type has its own peculiarities and requires different preparation techniques.

Students will be guided through the process of preparing for interviews, which includes understanding the purpose of the interview, researching the interview topic, and preparing answers to possible questions. In addition, they will learn techniques to deal with nervousness before and during the interview.

Project Description

Students, divided into groups of 3 to 5, will have to conduct a mock interview, where each member of the group will have a specific role (interviewer, interviewee, or observer). The theme of the interview will be the group's choice, and it can be a job interview, an interview for admission to a university, or even an interview with a celebrity.

The project must be developed in English, where students will have to use what they have learned about the structure of an interview and the different types of questions that can be asked.

Required Materials

• Paper and pen to write the interview script.
• Camera or cell phone to record the interview.
• Books, internet (reliable websites) to research more about conducting interviews in English.

Step by Step

1. Form the work groups and define the interview theme.
2. Define the roles within the group: interviewer, interviewee and observers.
3. Conduct research on the interview topic and write a script.
4. Practice the interview according to the script created, make the necessary adjustments.
5. Record the interview. Remember to speak clearly and in English.
6. After the interview, the observers should provide feedback on the interviewer and interviewee's performance. What was done well? What could be improved?
