Contextualization
Precision sports are sports practices that require not only physical strength, but also great concentration, skill, and precision from the practitioners. In addition, many of these activities also require good strategic planning, making them true mental games. Widely known activities that can be classified as precision sports include archery, golf, billiards, and table tennis.
Precision sports are not just competitive games. They are actually practices that can bring many health benefits and contribute to the development of essential skills. These practices help improve coordination, concentration, discipline, strategic planning, and emotional control. Furthermore, they are activities that can be practiced both individually and in groups, promoting socialization and teamwork.
Introduction
Through sports, it is possible to work on various contents and competencies, both technical and socio-emotional. In precision sports, the focus is on developing skills that involve concentration, precision, self-control, and resilience, essential for dealing with challenging situations and making decisions in complex contexts. However, in addition to a practice that captures students' attention, an approach is needed that allows them to understand and apply these skills in other contexts and situations in everyday life.
This project aims not only to teach about precision sports but also to stimulate teamwork, creativity, and proactivity in problem-solving. We hope that students can experience in practice how precision, strategy, and cooperation are important for personal and professional development.
