Detailed Project Description

Groups of students will come together to create an illustrated story, where adjectives and adjectival phrases will be the highlight elements. The story must contain at least 10 adjectives and 5 adjectival phrases used appropriately.

The adjectives and adjectival phrases used should be highlighted in the text with different colors, to facilitate identification and later analysis. After building the story, the students will meet and discuss the use of these words, their meanings, and how they help to build the narrative.

Materials Needed

• A4 paper or word processing software.
• Pencils, colored pens, or image editing software.
• Books, websites, and other reference materials for researching adjectives and adjectival phrases.

Detailed Step-by-Step

1. Form groups of 3 to 5 students.
2. Research adjectives and adjectival phrases and discuss in groups their functionalities and uses.
3. Choose a theme for the story and start making the outline. Remember to include at least 10 adjectives and 5 adjectival phrases in the story.
4. Review the outline, make sure that all adjectives and adjectival phrases are properly used.
5. Create illustrations for the story, making sure that the images represent the chosen adjectives and adjectival phrases.
6. Review the final story and make any necessary changes.
