Project Objective

The objective of this project is to apply the acquired knowledge about relative pronouns in English in a practical and collaborative scenario. Students will develop an "illustrated book" about relative pronouns, allowing each group member to contribute with their strengths and skills. The illustrated book should be understandable, creative, and informative, in order to explain in a playful and visual way the use of relative pronouns.

Project Description

Each group will consist of 3 to 5 students and will have one month to execute the project. The book should be composed of at least five sections: an introduction that explains what relative pronouns are, and four additional sections, each focused on a specific relative pronoun, namely, who, which, that, and whose.

In each section dedicated to a pronoun, there should be three to five examples of sentences that use it correctly, with illustrations that contextualize each sentence. The group should strive to present varied and interesting contexts, demonstrating the versatile use of relative pronouns.

The final project delivery will be a written report and the created book. This report should contain an introduction, a project development, a conclusion, and a bibliography.

Required Materials

Step by Step

1. Organize into groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. After forming the group, hold an initial meeting to plan the project, divide tasks, and set deadlines.

3. Research about relative pronouns, consulting the provided resources and other reliable sources.

4. Draft the layout of the book, deciding on the format, size, font, etc., and plan the distribution of information on each page.

5. Write the sentences that will use the relative pronouns and plan the corresponding illustrations.

6. Draw and color the illustrations.

7. Assemble the book: print and organize the pages, then bind them.

8. Review the book. Check for any grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.

9. Write the report, following the guidelines: contextualize the theme, explain the project development, conclude, and list the researched sources.
