Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 members. Each group will be responsible for creating a multimedia presentation, containing text segments, graphics, maps, videos, and other forms of audiovisual content, to elucidate the influence of the USA on Latin America.

Each project must cover the following four sub-themes:

1. Economic Influence: Explore how the United States has affected the economy of Latin America. This may include trade, investment, debt, and other forms of economic interaction.

2. Political Influence: Analyze how the United States has influenced the politics of Latin America. This may include military interventions, imposition of economic policies, support for specific political groups, and others.

3. Cultural Influence: Describe the impact of US culture on Latin America. This may involve music, cinema, food, clothing, among other aspects.

4. Migrations: Investigate migratory movements between the United States and Latin America, analyzing both the causes and consequences of this phenomenon.

The project must include detailed and in-depth research, with arguments supported by a variety of reliable sources.

• Computers with internet access for research and creation of the multimedia presentation.
• Digital resources (video editing programs, graphic design tools, Google Slides, etc.) to assemble the multimedia presentation.
• Reference books, articles, credible websites, and other sources of information for research.

1. Research: Each group must conduct in-depth research on the aforementioned four sub-themes. The research should be extensive and varied, including various different sources.

2. Content Organization: Each group must organize their findings in a logical and cohesive manner. This includes deciding how to divide the content among group members.

3. Creation of Multimedia Presentation: Using the available digital tools, each group must create an explicit and interesting presentation that illustrates the findings of their research.

Project Deliverables:

After completing the practical activity, each group must write a detailed report containing:

1. Introduction: Contextualization of the theme, its relevance and real-world application, as well as the project's objective.

2. Development: In-depth explanation of each of the sub-themes, including the theory behind each one and the group's research results. The activity should be explicitly detailed, indicating the methodology used and finally presenting and discussing the results obtained.

3. Conclusion: Recap of the main points of the project, explaining the learnings obtained and the conclusions drawn about the project.

4. Bibliography: Indication of the sources used for the project development.

The written report should complement the multimedia presentation, serving as a guide that offers context and detailed explanations of each element present in the presentation. While the multimedia presentation may include interesting and informative visual and audible content, the written report is where students truly explain the theory and concepts behind this content.
