Activity Objective:

This activity aims to help students understand and correctly apply the punctuation rules of the Portuguese language. Through this project, students will recognize punctuation marks, understand their purpose, and their impact on the meaning of texts.

Detailed Project Description:

The project 'Connecting Dots - A Scoring Game' consists of creating an educational board game where players need to correct or enhance the punctuation of sentences to advance. The project will be developed by groups of 3 to 5 students, and each group will produce a board game.

Required Materials:

• Cardboard for the base of the board.
• Colored markers.
• Scissors.
• Colored paper for question cards.
• Dice.

Step by Step:

1. Game Planning: The group should start by planning the style, rules, and format of the game. Each game should have a path or route in the form of a board, a set of question cards, and a clear rule on how to advance or retreat in the game.

2. Creating the Questions: Students should create a set of question cards. Each card should contain a sentence without punctuation or with incorrect punctuation, and the challenge will be to correct or enhance the punctuation of the sentence.

3. Board Construction: Students must build the game board. Each square on the board should contain specific instructions to advance or retreat (for example, 'Advance one square if you correct the punctuation correctly', 'Move back two squares if you get the punctuation wrong').

4. Reviewing the Rules: Before finalizing the game, the group should review the rules and ensure that the game is playable and challenging. They should also prepare a set of instructions for playing the game, which includes how to move on the board, how to use the question cards, and what determines the winner.
