Europe holds a central position in the world both historically and economically. It was the birthplace of major technological, social, political, and cultural revolutions that shaped the world as we know it today. European cities bring together a complex mix of history, culture, art, and economy, making the continent a destination of interest for both tourists and scholars.
The European economy is one of the most solid and important in the world, with the euro being one of the main international currencies. The European Union, an economic and political bloc composed of 27 countries, has the second largest GDP in the world and is the stage for important decisions that resonate globally. Moreover, Europe has a diverse and multicultural population, with high quality of life indices and a unique social model.
Introduction
In our investigation, we will analyze the economy and population of Europe. The economy will be analyzed from a macro and micro perspective, observing its internal and external dynamics, and the particularities of some of its main countries and regions. The population will be studied in terms of demography, culture, migratory movements, and social challenges.
Studying the economy and population of Europe allows us to better understand international relations and current geopolitics. Therefore, this project aims to provide students not only with technical knowledge about the European economy and population, but also to develop socio-emotional skills such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, time management, among others.
