Project Objective
The main objective of this activity is to provide a three-dimensional understanding of the Solar System, its main components, its formation, and its evolution over time. Through the construction of a model, students will be able to visualize the spatial and temporal relationships that exist among the celestial bodies that make up the solar system.
Detailed Project Description
This is a group activity that should be carried out by groups of 3 to 5 students. The task is to build a three-dimensional model of the Solar System, representing all eight planets, their orbits around the Sun, and some celestial bodies such as asteroids and comets.
The model should be accompanied by a theoretical explanation of the evolution of the Solar System, from its formation to the present day. The goal is for students to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the formation and evolution of the solar system when explaining the model.
