In this project, we will explore in depth one of the most fascinating aspects of the Portuguese language: adjective clauses. These clauses function as a kind of 'superlative', allowing us to detail and clarify the meaning of a noun in a very effective way. It is this ability to detail and clarify that makes them such a useful tool in communication - enabling us to express nuances of meaning and complexities of thought that would otherwise be difficult to convey.

Adjective clauses are divided into two categories: restrictive and non-restrictive. The restrictive ones bring essential information for understanding the meaning of the noun they refer to, while the non-restrictive ones add additional information that could be omitted without affecting the understanding of the noun's meaning. To better understand these concepts, analyze examples, do exercises, and search for a variety of uses of these clauses in texts.

The ability to understand and correctly use adjective clauses is a powerful tool in writing and reading. Not only does it help us better understand what we are reading or hearing, but it also helps us express our ideas more clearly and precisely. Furthermore, the correct use of adjective clauses is a sign of linguistic sophistication, something that can be very useful in a variety of contexts, from academic writing to communication in the workplace.

Activity Title: Building the World of Adjective Clauses: An Interdisciplinary Approach

Project Objective:

To explore, in depth, the concept of adjective clauses, their classifications, functions, and applications, through writing, text analysis, and the creation of an educational game. Students should also develop teamwork skills, time management, and the application of linguistic concepts.

Detailed Project Description:

This is a multidisciplinary project involving Portuguese and Arts. Students will work in groups of 3 to 5 and will be encouraged to collaborate, create, and learn together. The project will be carried out in three main stages: research and study, creation of an educational game, and production of a final report.

The first stage involves research on the topic 'adjective clauses'. They must understand the concepts, identify the uses of these clauses in literary, journalistic, or academic texts, and practice writing using these structures.

The second stage involves the creation of an educational game designed to teach and consolidate knowledge about adjective clauses. This is where the interdisciplinary aspect with Arts comes in. Students can choose from different formats for the game: board game, cards, RPG, among others. They will need to create the rules, materials, and questions/answers involving the studied content.

In the third stage, students will produce a final report, where they must contextualize the theme, describe the theory and practice, present the methodology used, discuss the results obtained, and list the bibliography used.
