Section role: supports the debrief of the interface challenge during the ecosystem decoding section while the teacher formalizes the software categories and production terminology. Slides: (1) Title — 'Decoding the Creator's Ecosystem'; (2) The Big Three Categories — bullets: NLE for video, DAW for audio, Graphic suites for still images; (3) Universal Interface Patterns — visual of shared Work Area, Tools panel, and Properties/Inspector panel; (4) Video Editing (NLE) — bullets: timeline, tracks, destructive vs. non-destructive editing, rendering; (5) Audio Production (DAW) — bullets: waveforms, multitrack mixing, why we edit audio in Audacity before Premiere; (6) Graphic Suites (Raster vs. Vector) — bullets: layers, pixels vs. mathematical paths, Photoshop and GIMP examples; (7) Industry Standards vs. Alternatives — Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve alongside open-source tools like GIMP and Reaper; (8) Workflow Integration — connecting earlier UI discoveries to the professional pipeline. Closing slide: 'Why can't a single software tool do it all?' — hands control back to the teacher to lead the transition to the production readiness check.
