God Made Everything!

God made our whole world! He made big mountains and tiny bugs. God made everything we see!

In the Beginning

Long, long ago, before anything was made, the world was dark. It was like a big, empty room with no lights on at all. There were no shapes, no colors, and nothing to see!

Day 1: Light!

On the very first day, God said, "Let there be light!" And poof! There was light. God separated the light from the dark, calling the light "Day" and the dark "Night." Just like when the sun comes up and goes down!

Day 2: The Sky!

• God made the sky on Day 2.

• It's like a big blue blanket!

• The sky separates water above us...

• ...from the water down below.

Day 3: Land & Plants

On Day 3, God told the water to move. Dry land appeared, and it was no longer just water! Then, God made green grass, colorful flowers, and tall trees grow everywhere.

Day 4: Lights in Sky

On Day 4, God made special lights for the sky! He made the big, bright sun to shine during the day, so we can play outside and see everything clearly. He also made the soft moon and twinkling stars to light up the night while we sleep.

On Day 5, God filled the water! He made all kinds of fish. Big fish, small fish, and even whales swam in the oceans.

God also filled the sky! He made all kinds of birds. Birds with colorful feathers and birds that sing flew in the air.

Day 6: Land Animals

• God made land animals.

• Big animals like roaring lions.

• Small animals like tiny ants.

• Fluffy sheep, too!
