Meet Jojo!

This is Jojo! Jojo loves to play and explore. Sometimes, when we play, we might fall down. It happens to everyone, even Jojo!

It's Okay to Fall

Everyone falls sometimes, even grown-ups! It's a normal part of learning new things, like riding a bike or playing tag. Your friend Lily might fall when she runs fast, and that's totally okay.

Falling is okay, like in tag, it's part of learning.

What is Falling?

• You lose your balance.

• You go down quickly.

• Like when you trip over a toy.

• Or slip on a wet floor.

Why Do We Fall?

Sometimes we fall down! Jojo might trip over a block on the floor. Or maybe the ground was wet and slippery. There are many reasons why we might fall.

Even when we spill, we get back up!

Reason 1: Tripping

Tripping means your foot bumps into something. Maybe you step on a toy car or a big rock. This makes you lose your balance and fall down.

• Toys are on the floor.

Reason 2: Slipping

Sometimes Jojo falls because he slips! Slipping means your foot slides on something wet or super smooth. Imagine walking on a big puddle or a shiny floor, your feet might slide right out from under you!
