Location Words: A Picture Review

Create a 8-slide visual review for fourth-grade English students about prepositions of place. Use large, uncluttered illustrations and very short, readable text. Slides: 1) title and the sentence frame “The ___ is ___ the ___.”; 2) in, with an object inside a box; 3) on, with an object touching a tabletop; 4) under, with an object below and covered by a table; 5) next to, with two objects side by side; 6) between, with one object in the middle of two objects; 7) behind and in front of, shown as a clear paired comparison; 8) a recap showing all seven target prepositions with one simple example sentence each. Include teacher pause moments for students to say each phrase aloud, but do not turn the deck into a quiz. Calibrate for 9–10-year-olds: concrete classroom objects, everyday vocabulary, high-contrast visuals, and no more than one example sentence per slide.
