Look! This is a pencil. In French, we say "un crayon" for a pencil. We use a crayon to write our names and draw fun pictures!

“Une gomme” is how we say “an eraser” in French. We use an eraser to gently rub away pencil marks. If you draw a dog with a funny ear, a gomme can help you fix it!

What is "Un Livre"?

Fun with Books!

In French, "un livre" means "a book." A book has many pages inside. You can find words and fun pictures in a book.

Un Cahier

This is a 'cahier'! It's a French word for a notebook. We use our cahiers to practice writing our ABCs and drawing fun pictures. It's where we keep our ideas safe!

Look! This is 'une règle'. It means a ruler! We use a ruler to help us draw super straight lines for our pictures and crafts. It's a very helpful school tool for making things neat and tidy!

"Des ciseaux" means scissors in French! We use scissors to cut paper for crafts, like making a fun paper animal. Remember to always be careful and ask an adult for help when you use them.
