The Table of 3: Groups, Patterns, and Facts
Create a 6–8 slide, colorful, child-friendly presentation for 3rd graders. Slides should: introduce multiplication by 3 as equal groups; show concrete dot groups for 3 × 1, 3 × 2, and 3 × 4; connect multiplication to repeated addition; display the complete table from 3 × 1 = 3 through 3 × 10 = 30; show the pattern of adding 3; model solving 3 × 7; and finish with three oral prompts: 3 × 3, 3 × 8, and 3 × 10. Use large readable numbers, bright inviting colors, and simple visuals. Do not include a worksheet.
