This or That? A Classroom Pointing Guide

Create a 6-slide, highly visual presentation for 3rd-grade English learners in a 9-minute teacher-led section. Teach only singular demonstrative pronouns with familiar school items: pencil, book, ruler, and eraser. Slide 1: title and a near/far pointing demonstration. Slide 2: one nearby pencil with the sentence “This is a pencil” and a hand-to-chest gesture cue. Slide 3: one distant book with “That is a book” and an extended-arm pointing cue.
