What is a Story?

A story, also called a narrative, tells about events and characters. It usually follows a sequence from a beginning, through a middle, to an end.

What is a Poem?

A poem is a special type of writing. It uses rhythm, sounds, and strong pictures to share feelings or ideas. Think of a song without music, like a short rhyme.

Storytelling in Poems
